BIRN is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of V-belt pulleys and flexible couplings.
August 1st 2008 Vald. Birn GmbH is taking the customers orders on transmission products.
This means that our existing sales office in Germany also will officiate as a European centralized warehouse.

As part of BIRN’s continuous improvement strategy, a development plan drawn up in May 2006 brought about a partnership between BIRN and China Metal International. This relationship fashioned the creation of China Metal Birn. This new production facility is based in Suzhou, China.
The first stage of this joint venture is the production of transmission elements and after that as many customers have showed such a great interest in the BIRN Flexline Delivery plan it is expected that within a measurable short period of time, future manufacturing production, which includes casting, machining and other finishing processes, will be performed in both Suzhou and Holstebro.
