BIRN has a multifunction coating system (MFCS) with several tried and tested coating processes that satisfy every requirement with regard to quality, the environment and appearance.
Coating ensures effective corrosion protection and can be done to specification in several colours by agreement with the individual customer.
The following sub-processes are available as part of the coating process:
- Pre-treatment (washing and rinsing)
- ZnMn phosphating
- ACC (Autophoretic Chemical Coating)
- Electrostatic high-speed rotation spray painting
- Powder coating

The coating department also has an immersion painting system and manual spraying booth to cater for budget solutions and small batches.
