V-belt pulleys
BIRN stocks a wide range of V-belt pulleys with diameters of 50 – 1250 mm with SPZ, SPA, SPB and SPC groove profiles for 1-10 grooves. All V-belt pulleys are ACC-coated, ensuring good rust protection.

Traditional V-belt pulleys for taper bushes
V-belt pulleys are made in the form of solid discs from 50 mm up to approx. 180 mm for taper bushes in GG 250.

VTP V-belt pulleys
From approx. 180 mm to 1250 mm V-belt pulleys are made in the patented VTP design in GGG 600. VTP V-belt pulleys are for customers who require:
- Increased peripheral speed up to 100 m/s thanks to increased material strength
- Easy assembly/handling thanks to 40-50% weight reduction
- Increased belt life or option of using at higher ambient temperatures thanks to ventilated grooves

Flexible couplings
The standard range includes another two coupling types:
- Type LB, which is optimised for transmission where vibration damping is required. LB couplings can also be fitted without dismantling the engine/machine
- Type BICO, a claw clutch optimised for high power transmission with smaller dimensions. BICO couplings come with a solid hub (for boring) or a taper bush
